Your Role

We are seeking a People Intern for the People team. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for supporting the People department with recruitment and selection and onboarding of new employees. This position will also contribute to employee engagement event planning, i.e. retreats and coworking events, and other projects, as needed. 

In your function as a People Intern, you will:

  • Support the overall recruitment and selection process by:
    • Drafting and placing advertisements
    • Conducting candidate sourcing
    • Scheduling candidates for video and in-person interviews
    • Reviewing candidate applications
    • Conducting first-round interviews 
    • Managing candidate correspondence 
    • Conducting reference checks when needed 
  • Conduct analyses of sourcing effectiveness and suggests new methods of sourcing regularly
  • Organize employee engagement-focused events such as coworking and retreats 
    • Researches and secures venues
    • Proposes team activities
    • Promotes and schedules events internally 
  • Work closely with the Head of People to identify solutions to support the needs of the organization
  • Contribute to other interesting projects, as needed

Your Profile

  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-up is essential
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) required
  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion to recommend best course of action
  • Ability to document processes thoroughly
  • Must be able to interface effectively at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to sensitive confidential information is required
  • Full proficiency in German and English is required, any other language is a plus

Ideally, you also bring:

  • Experience recruiting candidates for technical and investment positions
  • Excitement about the Inyova mission to mainstream impact investing
  • A bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resources or a comparable degree, or a student in such a program
  • Experience using Greenhouse as an ATS
  • Experience using Personio as an HRM
