Senior Front-End Engineer

Inyova is the leading digital platform for investing with a sustainability impact. Your Role

We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer for the Inyova product development team. As part of the engineering team, you will be working on the core user flow of our web and mobile application in collaboration with the rest of the team. 

More concretely, in your function as a front-end developer, you will…

• Set and execute the long-term front-end technical direction.
• Mentor other engineers to drive long-term technological advancements within the company.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, offer technical recommendations, and ensure project timelines are met.
• Proactively suggest and implement new patterns or systems to foster company growth.
• Work closely with designers and back-end developers to translate UI/UX designs into application features.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to maintain coding standards, optimize performance, and adhere to best practices.
• Optimise front-end performance and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues within the frontend codebase, providing timely resolutions.
• Implement and maintain front-end testing processes to uphold code quality and minimize bugs.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in Front-end positions.
• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate technical expertise, with meticulous attention to detail 
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Not afraid to take ownership
• Proficiency in organizing work, setting priorities, and determining resource requirements.
• You have the following technical skills:
• Angular 12+ and Ionic experience
• Reactive programming with RxJX and NgRx 
• Sass or other CSS preprocessor language
• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Agile development methodology
• Advantageous if you have knowledge or experience with:
• Knowledge of mobile application build process
• Experience with Jasmine & Karma Unit testing frameworks
• Other JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
• REST APIs
