Compliance Manager

Your Role

Inyova is working to mainstream impact investing and sustainability in finance. We strive to offer the best investing solution in the market on both financial (i.e. risk/return) and sustainability impact dimensions.

As Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in helping Inyova deliver on the promise to its customers. As a regulated financial Firm in Switzerland (FINMA Bewilligung) and Germany (BAFIN Lizenz), Inyova needs to stay compliant with financial regulations. 

• Regulatory Compliance & Governance.
  • Ensure compliance with BaFin (Germany) and FINMA (Switzerland) regulations.
  • Maintain and update compliance policies in line with MiFID II, AML, and other applicable laws.
  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory authorities and manage regulatory filings.
  • Oversee internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Risk Management
  • Implement and monitor AML/KYC policies, ensuring adherence to EU and Swiss regulations.
  • Conduct KYC checks for newly onboarded investors or within unusual investor activity. Drive the development of a semi-automated compliance platform together with our IT developers.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Reporting & Monitoring
  • Develop and oversee compliance monitoring programs.
  • Ensure timely regulatory reporting and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Policy & Process Development
  • Continuously imporve internal compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, Swiss Data Protection Act).
  • Monitor regulatory changes and integrate them into company policies.

Your Profile

As part of Inyova you will report directly to our senior management and will work together closely with all functions across a broad range of regulatory and risk topics.

As Compliance Manager you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• At least three years hands-on experience in the compliance department of a financial institution, consultancy or auditing firm.
• In-depth knowledge of German and EU financial regulations with exposure to several of the following areas: WpHG, KWG, GWG, MaComp, MaRisk, MiFIDII, GDPR.
• Track-record of setting up or maintaining waterproof compliance systems and processes for a financially regulated entity.
• Proven execution and project management skills.
• Excellent skills in internal (cross team collaboration) and external (auditors and regulators) communication.
• Proficient in common office IT tools (e.g. MS Office / Google Suite) and a general affinity towards technology (processual and conceptional).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Someone who is a lot of fun to work with.
